Every month, the Single Gourmet of Long Island puts together a newsletter with all the events scheduled for the coming month. The newsletter includes dates, locations and cost of each event, and is sent to our members electronically or by mail, including to each member's preference.
Once you have received your monthly newsletter, you decide which of the upcoming events you would like to attend. You can then make your reservation directly on our site using your credit card or your PayPal account. Or, if you prefer, you can mail in your check or call us with your credit card information. Payment must be received one week before the scheduled event. Although we do try to accommodate last minute requests, availability cannot be guaranteed. Making your reservation early is strongly encouraged.
When you arrive at the restaurant on the day of the event, the Single Gourmet will check you in and you will be free to mingle with all the other guests, get a drink at the bar if you like, catch up with old friends or start making new ones.
Seating will take place after about a half hour. We will make every effort to sit you with people in your age group or people that we think you may have common interests with. That way, the conversation will flow naturally and will never be boring!
